I can still remember Baghdad Bob telling the news reporters that Iraq was winning the war and in the background we could see the American tanks rolling into the city. Later we saw the statue of Saddam Husein being torn town and people hitting it with their shoes.
How many times have we seen politicians in our country standing at a podium telling lie after lie. Why do we put up with it? Why do we let ourselves be polarized and let party labels color our perception and our judgement?
When can we become Americans and not Democrates or Republicans?
