California Vacation - A Photographer's Dream

So much of California is beautiful. It is no wonder it is the most populated state in America. The Rose Bowl has a long history of the championship games between the Pac 10 and the Big 10. I can still remember watching Rose Bowl parades on television. The 1980 Olympic Games were held in this venue.

Tommy using his new Cannon camera to get a picture of the roses by the stadium.

One of the many sandy beaches in California. Most beaches have house studded hills overlooking God's creation.

High tides etch and erode the shoreline leaving a beautiful natural sculpture formed by wind and waves.

That's Tommy. That's Jill. That's the Pacific. Most of the beach was occupied by California girls hoping to tan themselves and hoping to be seen. They did; they were.

A Bulls jersey. An Angels hat. A Mickey Mouse bathing suit. Jill and Tom enjoyed going in the ocean. The water was warm. After the movie Jaws, most people didn't want to go out to far. Where's Jiminy Cricket?

A very expensive shopping district for the rich and famous. Not us. We are just lookers.

Who's beer is that? They actually look like they might like each other. Not bad for a brother and sister.
