Jewel Food Stores - Bldg A - Grocery Warehouse

Archie Hollins was the Plant Manager. He was the most talented person I ever worked with at Jewel. He later became the Vice-president of Warehousing.  Ed Agnew was the current Vice-president of Warehousing and Jim Chase was the former Vice-president. Tony Bell was the Personnel Manager. He later became the Vice-president of Warehouse Personnel. Brian Yager was the Training Manager. I, at the time, was the Manager of Safety and Sanitation. Lino Franch (Frank) was my working foreman. We put on a dissolving slide show for the warehouse workers of the day crew and the night crew. We had pop and popcorn and gave them a good one hour show with slides and music called, "You, Jewel, and the World." Our goal was to reduce injuries, damaged products, and our sanitation rating. In the coming months, we accomplished all three. My son Tom came to watch the show.
