It's nice to have something productive and meaningful to do when you are retired. The owners of this fabric store made this themselves. They didn't get money from the government. They invested their hard earned money. They decorated their shop with their ideas about color and display fixtures. They created this shop's warm and friendly ambiance.. They created a business that provides jobs for the community. Their business taxes pay for the local streets, firemen, policemen, and schools. They are American self made entrepreneurs. The couple in the bookstore below was telling us about Downton Abby, a show my daughter sent me for my birthday.
