Tell Me the "Tails" That To Me Were So Dear, Long Long Ago, Long Long Ago...

Nice homes adjacent to the trails; many of these homes have stables in the back. One of Monica's jobs as a teenager was mucking out horse stalls twice a day. She also groomed many horses, washed them and braided their tails. She also exercised people's horses. Moni often saw William Shatner in the stable with his American Saddlebred horses.

Here are two ladies out for an early morning ride. Everyone we encountered was friendly.

Nice animals. You don't realize how large and wide they are until you mount one.

Another Burbank house along the trail. Twenty years ago this land was all stables. Slowly Burbank's horse accommodations are disappearing.

A man has his horse out for some exercise. Ellie loves this walk. Many times in her past Moni was on these trails. Often Monica can see the little boy in me and in her dad Patrick.

Horses being boarded enjoy the cool morning air.

Years ago Moni was just a teenager and she would see a completely naked man running along this river.

A lady on her stately palomino trots down the trail.

A place where you can rent a horse.
A narrow horse bridge crosses the river.
