Six Degrees of Separation

I went for my walk this morning with Alfie, but it started raining and I couldn't finish the hour walk. When I got back I decided to post this blog. Last night I was thinking nostalgically about "Candy Cane Lane" last night. Each year before Christmas my dad would have Mary, Jimmy and me pile in the car and visit this local attraction. We were poor and this neighborhood was middle class. Middle class was like rich to us. We would drive through this suburb and marvel at their Christmas decorations: lights, Lite up Santas, reindeer, snowmen, and giant lighted candy canes. I have fond memories of those family visits and the magic of that time of year.
