Saturday News and Notes

  • The clouds were below the mountains this morning all the way to ground level; beautiful.
  • More parents have brought in things for our student store. Awesome.
  • During game time on Friday, I saw students playing together who in any other circumstance wouldn't be even talking to each other. Wow!
  • Mrs. Salazar has offered to coordinate parties for our class. She rocks.
  • Mrs. Campbell has offered to coordinate our Candlelight Dinner and she is coming in on Thursdays to grade the fifth grade and sixth grade math tests. She is the bomb, to state it in a common, high school idiom of the 80s? 90s?. Soon I'll be quoting Alf.
  • We moved up the Candlelight Dinner a week to be respectful of the Jewish Holidays. Family and religious traditions are important.
  • I only wish some of the great parents I had in past years could have been part of the wonderful group of parents we have this year. All of our students will benefit.
