Friday All Day And Then The Weeked Begins...

• it is so nice when your child starts showing that they CARE about their learning
• ENERGY: the fourth graders come into the class with about five gallons of low octane gasoline; the fifth graders pour into the room with about ten gallons of jet fuel; we are already noticing some fourth graders increasing their gallons and their octane which gives them more discretionary time; energy the brain allocates - can't get work done without it
• hope those ABC books are progressing
• Monday we have Friday Folders due; voc lesson 5 due; and we will audit the new grade sheets the students and parents record off their Friday Folders
• the fall party the moms are planning sounds frightening; let's hope so; the kid in me wants to enjoy it too
• we received some of the math books we needed; we still are looking for some of the assessment materials and we can begin afternoon math
• we still need the social studies books
