Monday - the Start of the Last Full Week of September

  • three more weeks and intersession - super
  • in nine weeks we will have only had library twice and computer lab three times - bummer
  • tomorrow is Grandparent's tea - sweet
  • 13 students did not have updated grade sheets - huh!
  • tax credit would be nice - so nice
  • students should be at 35 AR points; reason for the high reading expectations: during the seven years I was at Coronado, Copper Creek's fourth grade was at the 80th percentile in reading; our current reading percentile has dropped to 63
  • students have started reading Wringer - we are becoming reading machines
  • the take-home science test shows the points for each section of the test; the test is due a week from today (Sept. 28)
  • tomorrow the spelling sheet is due and we will have the spelling test
  • today in math: 4th pp. 124-125 (1-8), pp. 126-129 (1-35) and pp. 134-135 (1-18); 5th pp. 190-191 (1-37), pp. 192-193 (1-30), and p. 180 (1-25); 6th pp. 152-153 (7-48) and pp. 140-141 (1-24)
