WARNING! WARNING! BEWARE OF LONG DIVISION!

  • today was productive and NO name calling took place
  • tomorrow 5th grade is doing long division and it can be a difficult concept fraught with ways of making mistakes (i.e. numbers not readable, columns not straight, incorrect multiplication fact, subtraction error, and or quotient too high or too low
  • math test corrections due
  • picture day
  • select new jobs tomorrow
  • today in math: 4th pp. 150-151 (1-44) and p. 154 (1-20); 5th pp. 212-213 (1-390 and pp. 214-215 (1-37); 6th p. 172 (1-33) and p. 173 (1-10)
  • Olivia D., Courtney C., and Jason F. visited the class. They are former students who now attend Cross.
  • AR watch: we are starting to monitor the students who are under our weekly AR points goal. Next week the students should be at 45 points. Our goal is to get everyone up to 150 points by the cutoff
  • still hoping for more followers and more people reading the student blog
