Wednesday

• the teacher taking a day off once in a while is good for the kids - a respite
• I hate it, though, I have a finite number of days left to me (it is kind of like being on a great vacation and the number of days left keeps dwindling), but I won't show up because it undermines the substitute - I subbed once long term and the teacher kept showing up and the kids kept telling me, "You are not our teacher,we don't have to listen to you!"
• tomorrow we have math test corrections; the math chapter test
• today in math: 4th pp. 140-141 (1-30); 5th pp. 198-199 (1-9) and p. 200 (1-25); 6th p. 156 (24-40) and p. 57 (1-10)
