- math today: 4th p. 169 (14-30) and pp. 170-171 (1-20); 5th pp. 230-231 (1-9) and pp. 232-233 (1-29); 6th pp. 188-189 (12-41) and pp. 190-191 (1-13)
- tomorrow no reading sheets; we have vocabulary contest and test
- today we started monitoring the journal productivity (the most efficient student was done in eight minutes; the least efficient student was done in thirty-three minutes, a difference of twenty-five minutes); we also changed the order of work each first hour to: journal, then edit, then math lesson
- we still don't have the fourth grade and sixth grade math test books so we are waiting to use the new math books
- we still don't have enough fifth grade social studies books to start "sharing": them with Mrs. Cuomo
- we reserved Catalina State Park for camping in February
- the fifth grade student council members will go to a Peace Conference
- ABC books should be far along by now
- according to the news, teachers in Arizona no longer have tenure, which is a promise of continued employment
Love your input. Will listen to requests or ideas for future blogs. Have a safe day. Would love to hear from former students or their great parents. God bless the United States of America.
