It's A Jungle Out There - Stay In School

  • math today: 4th pp. 246-247 (1-38); 5th p. 302 (1-33) and pp. 312-313 (1-28); 6th 270 - 271 (1-28)
  • tomorrow the students are asked to bring in an interesting photograph for a writing assignment; it should have details that can be described; it should have something interesting that is happening, but you can't tell what it is by looking at the picture
  • tomorrow edit sentences and quiz
  • tomorrow grammar 37, 38, 39

    It may be a jungle out there, but we have candy in here! One more great day of laughs, discussion of serious world issues, kitchen aesthetics and observing my son in his element. When rules and consequences make sense, the road to compliance is so much smoother. Thanks for choosing the right battles!--MS

    PS: Concession on the ABC book was only reached because I believe in the differences between men and women. When it comes to grading papers--my way is oh so much better ;)
