- Maybe an update could be posted as gifts for the Nash family come in so one child doesn't get lots and another little, or the parents get left out totally! What do you think? Great idea. See Cocoa's Corner on right of blog. We have until Monday, December the 14th to have the presents at Copper Creek. We will take them to Nash to meet the family and deliver to them the wrapped presents. Thanks so much in advance.
- Scholastic orders due Nov. 30th when we get back; they were handed out today and should be brought home; you can place your order on line, too.
- math today: 4th pp. 284-285 (1-16) and pp. 286-287 (1-13); 5th pp. 350-351 (1-34); 6th pp. 300-303 (1-32)
- tomorrow we will launch the rockets in the afternoon; reading sheets are due; AR tests for Holes and Call It Courage are due; we will have a Candlelight rehearsal; the day ends with a Turkey Calling contest hosted Mrs. Pruzin dressed up as a turkey.
- some students already have pages for Part II of the ABC book completed.
- all this and everything I type has been typed with one finger; I am neither proud of that fact or bragging about my handicap; I want more for my students.
Love your input. Will listen to requests or ideas for future blogs. Have a safe day. Would love to hear from former students or their great parents. God bless the United States of America.

Wonderful idea! What is the deadline for the gifts?--MS
ReplyDeleteThere's a great typing program called tux typing. It is a free download. I've used it and the ABC book is making me want Allie to include it in her daily tasks! I confess, I type with all my fingers, but I do look at the keys!
ReplyDeleteWe have a pair of pajamas for the Nash mom and 2 packages of a 3 pack Bakagan toy gift(one pack for each boy) to add to the class adopt a family collection.
