- this is our last weekend to get presents for our Nash family
- today in math we did a unit review - these corrections are due on Wednesday when we have the unit test
- in today's Friday Folder you might find some very low math grades for fourth and fifth graders; this was predicted due to the time of the year and the week of the Candlelight Dinner, even though the homework has been significantly reduced; this also happened at Halloween and will happen the last four weeks of the year; only the few students who have learned how to stay focused were able to get an A (about six); we even had a 100% and a 98%
- Monday we have due the Friday Folder, the grade sheet updated, and we have the vocabulary test
- I must have been California Dreaming because on the blog calendar I indicated the nonfiction project is due the 16th, so we must acquiesce and make it the 16th which will help some students; not enabling at all at this festive time of the year, the new Scrooge would want it that way after his reclamation
Love your input. Will listen to requests or ideas for future blogs. Have a safe day. Would love to hear from former students or their great parents. God bless the United States of America.

No better dreamin' than to dream California style! Thanks for the extra two days--When mine decides to become a student, life will roll so much smoother:) Also, thanks for using words such as, acquiesce and reclamation--One can only smile!--MS
