- this is the time of year (that time of year thou mayst in me behold, when yellow leaves or none or few do hang upon those boughs) that the parents do not have nice things to say about me under their breaths - projects - loathed, abhorred, detested, weekend ruining projects; however, when they are done the parents are usually more forgiving and proud, but not right now - just a small enmity I must shoulder because I have a very good idea what the kids need to be able to do to excel in public middle school and oh what learning is possible - not fishing, just reflecting, just being me
- math today: 4th pp. 412-413 (1-21) and 414-416 (1-18); 5th pp. 486-487 (1-9) and p. 488 (1-25); 6th pp. 428-431 (1-45)
- Monday: vocabulary 16; math grade average sheet; Friday Folders
- major things next week: social studies test corrections (Wed.) ; Book Jackets (Fri.) ; Spirit Celebration (Fri.)
- Clare said rather stoically, "Just ask." Stoic but profound.
Love your input. Will listen to requests or ideas for future blogs. Have a safe day. Would love to hear from former students or their great parents. God bless the United States of America.

Mr. Floore I DETESTED those projects, NOW I can't believe how much I NEEDED them! All those years thinking I would just die if I had to spend another two minuets on them! First of all, they really were super easy, but at the time yes they seemed a little tough, and second: they make the projects you get in 6th 7th and 8th grade A BREEZE! Those projects taught me everything I know about writing , because honestly I have learned nothing about the writing process and thesis, since 5th grade... sad right?? Well actually thats not totally true, I learned a LITTLE bit in 6th grade, not much though; I did do some self teaching and am currently learning ελληνικα, Français, Latīņu, (Greek, French, and Latin). And to close up because I could keep going for hours, I will say that yes; PARENTS: you will be repeating the 4th and 5th grade, but if you don't keep your kid in this class and up to these expectations your doing them an injustice, not to mention you have to that every kid that I know from is class is in a higher level math group... no flashcard math here... so please do yourself a favor and realize that when your child looks back in retrospect: these will literally be THE BEST 2 learning years of their lives... if you need tips or want to know more... reply to me. And please know that I mean this as nicely as possible... and belive me: IT WILL GO BY FAST! :)
