The final shoe to drop!

• It comes from a famous music hall joke about a man who is woken by the drunk upstairs dropping his shoe. He can't get back to sleep because he is waiting for the second crash on the ceiling. Eventually he shouts upstairs "For Heavens sake, drop the other shoe!"
• Once we know what we will be teaching next year; how many students we will have in our classes; who the students and parents will be; and what materials, if any, we will be using - then at that point we can make our plans and pull together to do our best for our students. Copper Creek still has a very talented and positive group of teachers. Like you, we are waiting probably until the beginning of next year before we know exactly what is happening and what challenges we are facing.
• Tomorrow the fifth grade has a field trip and they need a sack lunch and a drink. They will be going with the fifth grade teachers and I will be staying with the fourth graders.
• Thursday in the morning is the fourth grade final dress rehearsal.
• Friday is the final fifth grade dress rehearsal.
• On Monday is the fifth grade play performance for two fifth grade classes.
