- A story about life. What it is to be born and live and die. What is important in life. Emily gets to go back and relive a day - an unimportant day - and it is all too painful. She picks her twelfth birthday. We see when Emily and George decide to spend the rest of their lives together. We see the wedding. We see the cemetery where Emily and George's mother are buried. We learn to appreciate each day we are living in now and appreciate spending precious time with the people we love. We learn what it means to be human.
