Sally Sells Sea Shells By the Seashore - Failing Notices Are Flying Out the Front Door

What's your favorite alliteration? I like "Dark spruce forest frowned on either side of the frozen waterway." That's the opening line in Jack London's book White Fang. It has alliteration and personification.

Failing notices will be going out for science, social studies, and math. These should not be a suprise if your child has been bringing home their work and showing it to you. There is time to improve these grades if work habits improve. There is A LOT of wasted time during class disretionary time and study hall.

When you see a picture of the Statue of Liberty or see it in person, what thought go through your mind? Do you think statues like this are important?
