Congratulations Emily. Emily was the first student in our homeroom and our language arts class to earn her AR trophy. She already has over 150 points and should become a double honors achiever. I'm hoping ALL our students try to reach the goal of earning 150 points and their AR trophy before the AR cutoff in April.
Over Fall Break I was able to visit my daughter in Delaware. It was very enjoyable to visit her, her husband Dan, and her three kids - Owen, Sophia, and Eliza. We visited D.C., a pumpkin patch, Owen's school, and several unique restaurants. My daughter Jill is the Chief Financial Officer of a school district and Dan is a professor at the University of Delaware. I am proud of them both.
