The First Week Of Math Boosters Is Almost Over - How Did It Go?

Math Boosters started out the week with a lot of lates and absences. Student attendance has improved. Most students come to class willing to work and receptive to learn. We should make a lot of progress before we reach the standardized tests.

The fifth graders took their first quiz. The other classes will take chapter tests next week.

Fifth grade is now working on surface area of various geometric shapes; each day we look at AIMS math questions; we also review the questions on the inventory that they missed most frequently.

The fourth grade is learning about changing linear units.

The third grade is studying decimals and fractions.
