Michigan Fishing 2012 - Side Trip

I like this vanity plate of a loon, a common visitor of the North Woods.

Tom and I had time to kill while his trolling motor was being repaired. We lost almost a half a day of fishing. This tackle store in Eagle River was a well stocked with musky tackle. The clerk was very rude and unfriendly.

These landing nets were twice the size of the ones we have in our boat. These were designed to land 50 inch fish. No kidding.

Look at the size of these lures. Some cost twenty five dollars apice. Imagine how tired you get throwing out these dildoes.

Eagle River has lakes and a river where the fisherman only fish for large musky.

More large musky spinners. You need 14 to 20 pound line for this king of fishing. The guys usually use bait casting outfits. This store had cameras all over the place to stop stealing.

Hey buddy, where is these a good restaurant?
