Copper Creek Elementary School

• From the moment this school opened it was on the decline.
• I taught there for 8 years.
• When I was at Copper Creek, they had all day kindergarten.
• They had five teachers per grade level and two multiage teachers.
• In other words there were 31 classroom teachers.
• Now there are now 12 classroom teachers. There are no multiage teachers.
• Susan Latin is the only classroom teacher still working there.
• The enrollment must be a third of what it was.
• Economies of scale must be hurting them financially.
• Sad.
