Lincoln's Tomb

This is the only home Abraham Lincoln ever owned. Abe practiced law in Springfield, Illinois.

Imagine Lincoln walking through this doorway hundreds and hundreds of times. Lincoln is our most revered president. He was hated at the time and only became popular after he was assassinated. The "Cancel Culture" today wants to disparage our history and make this a socialist/marxist country. Just follow Black Lives Matter and Antifa to learn it for yourself.
Tim in his China Mask.

It looks like a large house, but all the rooms are very small.

The house was not open the public due to the Chinese Virus!

Lincoln's wife, Mary Todd, wanted him buried in Springfield.

When you stand here you realize you are only ten feet away from  President Lincoln's body. He was shot and killed by a Democrat, John Wilkes Booth. Most of the people in the Southern Confedercy were Democrats, In fact, almost all of the slave owners were Democrats. Now Lincoln belongs to the ages. Now he is with our heavenly Father.
Thirty years ago I attended a reading seminar in Springfield, Illinois with  sixty-five  elementary school teachers from Illinois public schools. I was the only one to take the time to visit Limcoln's house and grave.

All of the immedaate family are buried here, except one son whose is buried at Arlington.

He won the Civil War and kept our nation together. Now, today, the left and the media are trying to destroy it again. God be with us.

A great man who was the reason the French sent us the Statue of Liberty. The United States of America was "conceived in liberty." That liberty will be gone with socialism.

A beautiful cemetery with rolling hills and trees and well kept grass.

A magnificent final resting place.

It would be nice to have a small rock from this hallowed place.

Beautiful.

Peaceful.

When they brought Lincoln's body by train from Washington the Democtats tried to steal it. The federal government put his body in this temporary tomb until a proper one could be built.

A temporary vault.

Little Boy, our car, in the cemetery.

Little Boy drove 3800 miles to take Clare to college.
