Catching Trophy Fish - Musky, Northern, Bass, Walleye

We sat on seat cushions. We would go out for half a day. We didn't know where to fish. If we found a spot, we would fish that spot all day. If it started raining we would head back. But with our small motor that would take an hour.

Tommy learning how to control the boat. Part of the fun of a fishing trip is the boating around. With this motor made by Montgomery Wards you had to mix the gas and oli together.

A small mouth bass caught on a night crawler. The reel was an Abu Matic 170. The rod was made by Pflueger.
We haven't caught many trophy fish. But now that we are fishing in the areas where they hang out, we will be catching them soon. We are starting to understand conditions, presentation, and structure. What really catches fish is knowledge, experience, and being out on the water casting and not in the cabin.
