More Carpinteria, California

I like these local places. California is such a beautiful state. It has the most natural resources of any state. However, the economy is one of the worst in the country. With 12% of the nation's population, California has 34% of the nation's people on welfare. It has 12% unemployment and 22% underemployment. In spite of this, this state will reelect the president by a wide margin and they elected Brown to exacerbate their financial crisis. It's kind of like the passengers on the Titanic giving the designers of the ship and the captain a vote of confidence and trusting them a second time with their lives.
The young waiter brought our food, and he called Moni's parents Lovebirds.

I'll have the clam chower served in bread.
The food looks good. It was.

I love blue skies and streets lined with trees.

Moni sits for a picture by this seal fountain.
