Scluptures At The J. Paul Getty Center Museum, Brentwood, California

The complex has several fountains. The Getty Center cost 1.2 billion to complete. This trust fund must be enormous. Admission to the museum is free; there is a $15.00 fee to park in the garage.

The buildings and grounds are so expansive, the 1.3 million visitors per year are not crowded at all.

This piece is called Torso of Summer 1911 by Aristide Maillol.

This is Delusions of Grandeur by Rene Magritto.

This sculpture is Torso of Diana 1943 by Aristide Maillot.

Henry Mooris named this work of art Seated Woman 1975.

A view of some of the gardens.

A nice place to spend a day.

We are at the Fran and Ray Stark Sculpture Garden. Trees and ladies in various states of undress.

I wonder if the model for this was a runner. This is another view of Torso of Summer 1911 by Aristide Maillol.

Here we have Seated Cardinal by Giacomo Manzu.

Very dignified.

Very serious, very pious.

This piece is called Night.
A sculpture by Leonardo Da Vinci.
