Paramount Pictures - Hollywood - Movies - Television - Commercials

Monica's brother Joe met us at the gate and he took us on a tour of the Paramount lot.

It's a pretty large place with 35 stages, offices, and the back lot where they have streets and buildings to shoot outdoor scenes.

Joe's current stage is 19 where they are filming "See Dad Run." On Fridays they have a live audience.

The Bob Hope building. I would like to have seen Clint Eastwood's office.

This is a very large operation employing thousands of people.

Joe thought they were setting up to film a Payton Manning commercial.

There were uniforms for Denver, Pittsburgh, and New England.

Joe said most of the equipment at the studios is rented.

Each stage has a list of the movies and television shows recorded there. The studio's greatest grossing film is Titanic.

Joe explains what he does each day. Some days he works 16 hours. It is his responsibility to produce a Call Sheet that tells the actors where and when they have to be. He makes sure they are there.

Wardrobe uses the Call Sheet and the script to get the costumes ready.

Even to get a job in wardrobe you have to know somebody.

These buildings have very high ceilings. People that work in the building say it's haunted.

These are the backs of the kitchen and living room.
