The Organization Man

The Organization Man has his fishing equipment organized. That makes it possible to present just the right lure needed at that time. It makes the probability of catching fish much greater. Picking out the right lure is a skill. Adam has an intuition to pick a lure and three casts later he has a fish. "He" calls it his magic. Tommy is more scientific and he uses empirical  evidence to narrow down his choices. One year stick baits are working; this year they weren't. One year it's banana lures. The bleeding hot olive was the color du jour. This year it wasn't. Mepps always works. Buzz baits were the thing this year. The tail dancer caught the two largest walleye this year. Tommy uses the winter to get himself organized; to label his plastic lure cases; to decided what lure he needs to add to his arsenal. Maybe a few more square bills. Maybe frogs and jigs will work next year. The Organization Man has to worry about more than fishing. This year it's coupon gate. And so it goes.
