Baldwin Book Barn

The Book Barn is a converted dairy barn. It has been a book store for fifty years.

Just look at that dorr leading to the next room. Rustic.

A functioning pot belly stove.

The front desk where we make our purchases. You can walk behind the counter and browse. I did.
On the left are children's books including Dick and Jane.

Pat later sat in the car and kept saying, "What's he doing in there?"

I was looking at floors of books and isles of books and shelves of books from the floor to the ceiling.

A cat found a place to curl up on the fourth floor.

The owner's dog stretches out on an Oriental rug near the entrance.
Not politically correct; the libs wouldn't like this wooden Indian.

The owner is retired in Florida and comes to his bookstore for a visit.

Mr. Baldwin heps carry in bags of books acquired in an estate sale.

The other employee in the store.

This is the man that runs the store.

Mr. Baldwin invited me back next year for coffee.
