- Giant Post Cards: all the post cards are attractive; some beautiful; however - having done projects multiple times, I can anticipate many of the problems and I always give the students my best advice to keep them from having the same issues. I do this with every subject. Some listen, others choose not to. When I handed out this project, I told them up front that it was a four week project: read the book the first week and take the AR test. If you do poorly (less than a C) get another book and read it and pass it before you put all that work into the post card; this time more than a few had low or failing test scores. What is that expression about leading a horse to water?
- in math today: 4th pp. 272-273 (1-35); 5th pp. 342-343 (1-8) and p. 344 (1-20); 6th p. 292 (1-33)
- tomorrow we have reading sheets due
- tomorrow we will build rockets and have a Candlelight rehearsal
Love your input. Will listen to requests or ideas for future blogs. Have a safe day. Would love to hear from former students or their great parents. God bless the United States of America.
