97th Day of School - Hi Sara B. - 13 Weeks Till Pre-algebra

• this three day weekend is a good time to finish the book jacket and get a lot done on the ABC project; Courtney says at Cross you only get a week or two to complete middle school projects, thereby little opportunity for procrastination - still, even then some kids wait until the last day - not the 4.0 kids; me? I'm doing my income tax to see what I have left to live on. I'm trying to stimulate the economy, but I don't have a lot to stimulate it with. I guess that trip to 84 Charing Cross Road, London, will have to wait.
• in math today: 4th pp. 358-359 (1-19); 5th pp. 450-451 (1-26); 6th p. 383 (1-33) and pp. 394-396 (1-19)
• Happy Birthday Martin Luther King, Junior (love the song Abraham, Martin, and John)
• Tuesday: spelling sheet due and spelling test; voc 14 due
• I'm starting to look at some of these math grades and think I have a few indifferent kids;
• hey kids, prove me wrong
• each week I'm so glad we have parents visiting the class, helping, bringing good cheer, and making this a wonderful year (rhyme not intended)
• some great plans for our Valentine's party are in the works
