• A mom is working on our Valentine's party
• math today: unit tests and 4th pp. 346 - 347 (1-22) and 348 - 350 (1 - 16); 5th p. 418 (1 - 20) and p. 419 (1 - 8); 6th pp. 364 - 367 (1 - 27)
• tomorrow: chapter corrections and chapter test
• the students need to be reviewing their play lines 5 minutes per day ( a little study goes a long way) - make a schedule
• some students are already studying the vocabulary words for the next three lessons, 13, 14, & 15 ( 5 minutes per day can go a long way) - add to schedule
• read 9 point book, 10 minutes per day - add to schedule - there is time in school to read, too
• edit sentences, 2 minutes per day - add to schedule
• math corrections, 15 minutes per day - add to schedule
• ABC pages - disrectionary time- two days per week - seeing completed pages motivates the students
• ask your child to get a lot done in school - especially math, math corrections, voc lessons, grammar, reading practice sheets, etc.
