- It is nature that is a bonus on our fishing trips. We see a group of deer swiming across from an island to the opposite shore. Everywhere nature is pushing and contriving to keep each species alive. Thousands of fingerlings school together for protection as they forage for food and try to live another day. We see families of geese, ducks, and loons paddle by. A group of turtles is sunning themselves on a log. An injured twenty-two inch northern is scooped up by an eagle and carried off to his nest. And everywhere the trees. Everywhere the water and open sky. Everywhere the sounds of the north woods. Everywhere breezes carrying the sent of the pine forests.
Love your input. Will listen to requests or ideas for future blogs. Have a safe day. Would love to hear from former students or their great parents. God bless the United States of America.
