Today Mrs. Walker sent home a letter sharing the good news about the new standards based report cards that is being piloted this year. Each question on the survey received positive responses from 70% approval to 85% approval. Look for your copy of this important letter which was sent home today. The letter is on blue paper. More work still needs to be done before it is presented to the Governing Board. A committee of teachers and principals will work in the third quarter to make the final changes.
We had the Spelling Bee today. Tyler W. will represent our school in the district spelling competition. Congratulations to all the students in the Spelling Bee, thanks to the parents who attended, and congratulations to Tyler for becoming the school champion.
