Hope and Change

The Report Card Committee is meeting to make changes in the new report card after direction was given to the district administration from the Governing Board. Tidings of joy.

Tomorrow is Pajama Day and our 5th grade Christmas parties. We will have a merry day.

Math
Today in math we were learning about exponents. I gave the students an analogy about picking out a a Christmas tree. The lot has 104 Christmas trees. If the first 90 trees were already picked, what kind of trees are the 14 that are left. Not very good ones. So, if you are one of the bottom math students and jobs and college depend on how much you have learned in math and your other subjects, it will be like you picking out one of the last trees left. It is NEVER to late to start working harder, learning more, and learning how to become an efficacious student. Joy.
