100 Things I like About California 1. the weather 2. the beaches 3. the Dodgers .....

Nice block to grow up on and walk to school.

Vintage cars are ubiquitous in California.

Let's watch a movie with dad.

A hike down to the beach. It was at least twenty degrees cooler as we got closer to the ocean. Many of the lots here are worth more than the houses.

The houses are pleasing to the eye and are a variety of architecture styles.

Nice to look at. You can see the ocean from those windows.

Once again we see no litter on the streets. This commercial is brought to you by the Southern California Chamber of Commerce. Only kidding.

Ellie liked this spot to plop down every morning.

Augustus wanted to be in and then out and in and out!!! The umbrella and awning were cranked down in the morning, and the fountain was turned on. Often a hummingbird was waiting to take a bath.

Many houses in Burbank have nice lawns, but there is no homeowners association to insist on it. Lucky them. Burbank is the home of many of the movie and television studios.

A new house on the block.

This tiny house sheepishly hides, hoping no one notices it there.

Don't feed pigeons unless you want company.

Another picturesque, shady street.

I like this corner on Riverside drive. We saw it every morning on our walks. The other side of that hill is Hollywood.

I like the windows and Spanish arches on the bi-level.

Quaint curving path to this attractive house on Riverside.

Get it before someone steps on it. If aliens looked down at people and their dogs they would conclude the dogs were in charge.

Modest house and driveway, still - it might sell for $900,000.
