Learning the Routine - Loving Music

We had fifty-one hits on our blog last night; a very respectable number. There is always important information for both parents and students. We would like to post pictures of all of our students, but we only have written permission from a few.

On Tuesday we will have been in school for eighteen days. We have established the routine. Expectations ought to be clear by now. The students have their planners and the blog to keep them on top of assignment due dates, even when and if a student is absent. They ought to have a trapper to keep their materials with them at all times. In light of that, starting Tuesday any student who has an incomplete or missing assignment will be sent to the Success Room during lunch recess. This policy is being enforced by all the fifth grade teachers. The language arts Friday report is an assignment and must be signed and returned the first day of the following week. Meeting due dates for classroom novels are assignments too.
Organizational skills are an important part of readiness for middle school and high school.
